JD for IT Technician In Jordan UAE

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field, preferred

• Microsoft Certification Professional certified - preferred

• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Install and configure hardware components and software Repair or replace damaged hardware of Laptops, Printers and Desktops

• Knowledge of Installation and Upgrading operating systems and security patches etc.

• Install and upgrade antivirus software and deploy policy

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

• Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices

• Checking computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality

• Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance

• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work

• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

• Installation knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader 
• Installation and configuration knowledge of related VPN, Wireless, internet

• Configure / troubleshoot network connectivity of desktops / laptops & network printers

• Knowledge of Installation, re-installation, configuration of peripherals e.g. printers, scanners etc.

• Troubleshooting & resolution of first level printer problems (e.g. paper jam, alignment, configuration setting, driver related problem, font related problem etc.) & vendor coordination.

• Basic knowledge of Network configuration, Firewall, Switches, Routers

• Can manage IT asset inventory and regular update record

• Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN environment
